B-HOR formerly VR-HOR is still in service and will be 25 years old this year. Wouldn't it be great if she was repainted in the cucumber sandwich paint scheme complete with Union Flag to celebrate 25 years of service.
She could be flown by an A scale captain and F/O, complete with Cabin Crew from 1990 for added authenticity!

I don't know about "Colonial Airplanes", but the colonial management is alive and well at CX. Not sure it's paying them good dividends at this stage though.

I'd fly it for A scale pay rates! Haven't seen them since '99 ... 😁
And to use a word oft quoted 'sadly' !!$

Yes it would look good but the registration on the pic is an unfortunate choice. It is that of a RV6 that someone died in last year at Melbourne.

Fly747, it is the aircraft which is the subject of the thread, not the Registration which it has held (HOR) since it was brought onto the HK register 25 years ago. Not really relevant as far as the Australian register is concerned.

My info shows HOR was delivered to CX on 09 Feb 1990

A few of the early A330s and 777s were delivered with VR-H registrations and obviously they are still flying for us (or KA)
