I was employed for 3 years as DFO for Virtual Airlines, now defunct. Its sister company, Vision Air, is a Pakistani company that is in the process of acquiring and operating B747-400's for Saudia. To cut to the chase, this company owes me $50,000 severance, which it has promised to pay for the last 3 months-and of course has not. It has done the same thing to other managers as well. It also owes 10 pilots and engineers their severance pay from an AG contract that we had with Saudia, which it has also refused to pay; amounts range from $7000-$10,000 each. So when you see an ad from this outfit for B747-400 pilots, keep in mind the following:
-They don't pay on time, despite what it says in the contract.
-They have zero respect for your contract. Promised benefits such as insurance never materialize. This company has ZERO problem with it being in breach of contract, as long as that breach does not stem from the crew.
-They have a track record of screwing their crews.
-They don't honor the contract they make you sign. For the company, a contract is a one way street only, and that is employee responsibility to company.
