no you tube wtf??

ok updated pc and flash after being away for a couple of months now it wont play videos loads about 1:30 seconds and just flickers back before giving the you cant watch message.

flash up to date, all ms updates done can't get it to work

Any ideas? also the same on pale moon.....

Try Chrome.

Chrome I understand does not use the Adobe flash player and uses it's own code. I just checked and my chrome browser is using html5 video on youtube - so even more different. I vaguely recall that I may have selected that many moons ago but I am far from sure.

Glad Rag. What error Msg do you get ? Is there anything happening in your browser ? Are you using some sort of "Parental Control" software perhaps by accident? or an ISP "Nanny Guard" porn/inappropriate content protection filter.

No impuning of your character is intended and I agree about Unix.

Seriously though, I always set FF to ask to activate the flash plugin and in a few cases the prompt does not appear in you tube and all I get is grey noise instead of a you tube clip.
