Hello,
I will be attaining my FAA ATP soon and currently I am flying a DHC6-300 Twin Otter which is a single pilot airplane, however, our company operations and local civil aviation authority (curacao civil aviation authority) require 2 pilots for this aircraft.
After getting my FAA ATP, I intend on acquiring my EASA frozen ATP.
I have two questions.
If I have an FAA ATP but not 1500 hours on a multi-crew aircraft, do I still need to take an approved training course or may I self study for the 14 written examinations?
If I still require the 1500 hours on a multi-crew aircraft, does my DHC6-300 twin otter time count towards that (due to the fact that our local aviation authority requires 2 pilots)?
Thanks
