I was wondering what companies in east asia are worth applying for if you don't hold a TR.
I'll have over 1500 hours fairly soon but no TR as of yet. Will this be enough to land me a job with an airline in east Asia?

If you're flying a RJ or a Biz jet, maybe..
Would the chances be better if I come from Susi air with something closer to 2500-3000h?
Most would still be single engine piston and turbine

1500 hours of piston engine below 5700 kg? I'd say you would have better luck in the US, if that's where you're from. Most foreigners in airlines in Asia are TRI/TREs or very experienced line captains.
Yes all below 5700kg. Would it have changed anything if I had like 1000 on a DC-3?:p
