A while ago there was an email about not updating your iPad to iOS8 because the Navtech app was not compatible yet, ending up with a few emails back & forth about yammer.

Since they warned us not to update, I've seen nothing saying the latest version is now compatible, so am I to assume that it is still not compatible??

Maybe one of the yammer heroes can shed some light......

Yammer is a device catered for our Under 29 generation of pilots - you know the ones who can't formulate a whole sentence and rather use whats up than calling their mates.

Works fine with the latest iPad Air 2 even after updating to iOS 8.1.2. Speaking only from personal experience. Good luck!

Anyone have issues with icannotconnect and IOS8?? When I try and book tickets on icannotfly, after typing in my email address at the end, the yes button pop-up doesn't respond. I find if I click on no instead of yes, then resubmit the page, the yes button then works.

Perfectly logical way of going about things.

Hey wheels_up,

I don't think it's an iOS problem. It's our web designers problem. My cousin is a web designer and I had him look at our staff travel ticketing process and he says the site is not designed-formatted properly for use with mobile devices hence you have to come up with these silly workarounds. As if nobody nowadays uses mobile devices eh?

Perhaps a better solution to your problem: on your mobile device, after you enter your email addres and press confirm a pop-up window should appear asking you to confirm if your email address is correct with an option YES or NO. The yes prompt as you said will be frozen because of the sites poor design. However try touching once in any area INSIDE that pop-up window -upon doing so, the page should refresh itself and the pop-up window should reappear centered in your mobile device screen - but this time the YES prompt should be accessible. Try that and it should work. It does for me.

As a former IT major small stuff like this really bothers me. A good site should be user friendly and well-designed on multiple platforms (if not the most popular mobile devices!)

Aloha.

Broadband. You are Wag old chap Maybe one of the Yammer heroes can shed some light ask for advice and in the same sentence insult the people you want help from.

AQIS Bongo - What's Up Mate? Always assuming you mean 'WhatsApp' - at least using that incredibly useful means of communication you do so sending your name and number to your Mates instead of slagging off under 29s anonymously. Rewinding to your youth - any chance you'd have considered your post as from a Silly Old Fart?

Anyway, just off to FB and/or FT and/or WhatsApp etc my friends and family around the world. Good Luck with your Bean Tins and twine.
