Wholigan, PPRuNe Pop ...

I'm sure there will be other members who will want to join this little post to thank you for keeping the majority of us on the "straight and narrow" this year. A thankless unpaid task which you do in your spare time.

Well done and much appreciated :D:D:D:D

Happy Christmas ...

Coff.

Well said, CS! Thanks MODs for your gentle but sure touch on the tiller. Have a great Christmas, and let us all look forward to another good year for this excellent forum with you again at the helm.

Wholigan, yes indeed thank you but I don't include ALL of your colleagues some of whom seem to be so PC it is ridiculous. We are very much racial minority here and are happy to be called whites but on some threads if I mention the opposite I get censored.

Seasonal greetings to you all from 'darkest' Africa.

Yup!
Thanks Mods for doing an almost thankless task over the year,

The bulk do a smashing good job. One or two seem to have it in for folks with certain political viewpoints, that's life though. Happens everywhere, so statistically its not a surprise it's here on pprune as well.

Mods,

And thanks for turning a blind eye when some of us more aged characters ramble off Thread so far that we're almost out of sight !

But you know how "one thing leads to another" in the natter in our virtual Crewroom in Cyberspace - it is what makes the "Pilots' Brevet" Thread so great.

Lang may yer lum reek - Merry Christmas ! :ok:

MPN11 shuffles in, and lobs a handful of Green Verys [in a safe direction] for the Mods too.

Nice work, gentlemen, and much appreciated by all here. :ok:

Me too.

I feel that, having never knowingly felt either the velvet glove or the iron fist, I may have been too bland.

Resolution: must try harder to offend.

I will happily add my best wishes to the Mods on PPRUNE. Good move Coff, and I, like the rest can now feel I might get away with a little every now and again. Not that I ever stray you understand. Merry Yuletide to all

any thread other than one praising and thanking the mods might have been rebuked for drift perhaps?

Thanks Coff, and thank you everyone. I am sure I speak for Wholigan, who's having a break, when I say that your help in ensuring that this forum runs properly helps us to enjoy it as much as you do. We are both retired so we can give it all our time when we need to.

So, from both of us please accept our very best wishes for a Happy Christmas with a great time with your families, especially the guys who are now out of harms way - have a special one. For those still engaged we will continue to think of you and also wish you a special yuletide.

smudge (your #20 and t7a),

Lovely pic ! Now, that's what I call an ATC Tower ! (even if it does look like "Holiday Inn"). I could be happy there.

Now Rudolf should have a red nose, and a refuelling probe is no substitute for antlers !

My thanks to the MODs for allowing the occasional thread drift on the 'K' model Hercules thread. As the card says 'watch this space' as the new year will hopefully bring forth more tales of the venerable late lamented 'Workules'.

Gentlemen all apologies for my absence. The photograph of my RAF Albert was taken by myself at Fagernes, Norway, during exercise "Winter deployment" circa 1989. Here's another, from the other perspective, this taken from the tower on a later visit.

Have a great Christmas one and all.
