Just heard on the radio that the Pilots will probably go on strike again soon.
They got me last year so fingers crossed hopefully not again.
As soon as the strike last year was notified the call centers were overloaded as was the LH internet booking site. I believe ticketing is run by Amadeus at Erding and the demand caused it to go into meltdown.
I gave up trying to telephone or rebook via the internet after about 10 hours of but was able to pop into on the train LHR and sort it out. Luckily for me I was staying nearby.

I've been using them in recent years a lot to go from Dublin via FRA to some interesting parts of Europe not served by EI (won't fly FR on principal).

All Dublin flights cancelled yesterday and today. Not that I was due on one of them but you'd be fairly annoyed if you were.

Now that I've found them I really hope they get their act together.

Judging by last year or so I would say we haven't seen the end of the strike action by the LH pilots.
Because of this Ive been using BA for a while now. I wont book LH in the near future unless I absolutely have to until this matter is resolved.

pilots have extended the strike as follows:
"Strike by pilots union Vereinigung Cockpit for intercontinental flights from 03:00 to 23.59 on December 4th".
Short Haul looks ok at this moment in time....... watch this space!
