The relationship between the lens prescription, expressed as + or - a number, and the acuity, expressed as a ratio, is not a simple one.

6/24 means that you are able to read at 6 feet what someone with 'normal' vision (6/6) can read at 24 feet.

The prescription of myopia -2.0D and astigmatism -0.25D is a description of the lens that gives you as good vision as you're going to get, which in practice is probably around 6/5. You could, in theory have a prescription of zero but vision worse than 6/24 with or without glasses. The only way to be sure is to use a test chart.

However, looking at your prescription I would guess that you stand a good chance of better than 6/24 vision with your left eye, and should have no problems with your right. Your right eye might even be 6/6 without glasses on a good day.

If the 6/24 limit is for both eyes together, you are almost certainly OK.
