A long time ago Concorde was inbound to Heathrow but very short of fuel. Heathrow was busy so Concorde was offered a hold, which was refused, and it went to Gatwick. At Gatwick it went around due the cross wind, and Heathrow got it in immediately on 23.
It was so short of fuel that (allegedly) it had to be refuelled before the pax could disembark or it'd become a tail sitter. The captain retired soon after.
Anyone know which Concorde it was (registration)?
