Pondering a trip - how easy is it for a private operator?

Should be easy so long as you use the right ground handling agent or trip planner.

Yep, was there recently. Not sure if you've heard of other operators having problems there (?) but we had no issues at all. We used Stars Aviation Services.

Thanks guys. Would likely I need a route planner for this or just handler?

Also what is avgas availability like?

STARS do a good job there. I assume ground handling is enough and AVGAS should be there because I saw a few Cessna 172 and local flightschool traffic there.

Any suggestion for the best crew hotel in town?

I liked the Hivernage, close to the Medinah and old town but still sort of quiet and safe area

Been there quite a few times.
In my opinion first choice is The Pearl then Sofitel (the pool is wonderful) and then the Hivernage but some room are noisy.
They are all in the same area, close to the city center with some good restaurant and bar nearby.

Le Meridien offers good rooms for a descent price (at a walking distance from the Medinah)...
