Hi All,

Could anyone suggest aftermarket engine covers which will provide protection from volcanic ash and are easy to install using ladder after every flight.

Need something for a Global Express and due to the height of engines, the original covers can be difficult to install in remote location without a suitable safety ramp.

I am looking into JetBrella however from my understanding they offer limited protection from ash contamination.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers,

NF

Search Bruce's Custom Covers. If they don't have what you want then they'll make it.

How much of a problem is volcanic ash when the engine isn't running? Perhaps clean the worst away and dry motor to blow the rest through before you start it.

Whahaha. Blow the rest away? Good luck with that. Stick your finger in your chimney soot and then try blowing it away.

As for the covers, these guys do custom work for any aircraft and understand how to make stuff so that it goes on easy and stays on.
