View Full Version : Requests Effectively Gone West Too...

Latest roster shows a single Reserve placed before any Long Haul pattern effectively negating any certainty of doing the rostered or requested LH. That should help fatigue and in-flight rest planning...

...by the way isn't that contrary to the current rostering agreement (sic)

I voted yes :}:}:}

First time I didn't get a 'W pattern' albeit I am on super compact rostering in their system.
Given 8 days off with one reserve period in the middle. Pity I'll have rectal myopia on that particular day. :E

Got my request. 9 G days and 83.7 hours. Normal roster for me:{

I usually receive between 1-3 A days, so with A days having vaporised, I naturally expected some Reserves, but got no Reserve at all.

I also managed to get my first flight request, so for me a surprisingly better roster than normal.

Once CC gets off the starting blocks, I along with most other crew realize it will be a whole new defensive rostering poker game.
Be interesting to see who blinks first!

I'm Oz based and having no dog in this fight would have assumed "ops normal" just RML's v A's.

Somehow I've ended up with three trips, six R's (split into two blocks) and min G's. Oh and I commute.

Living the dream (and no I'm not that Captain.)

3 requests, lucky!

Our last DPA committee of tickle me elmos gave up 1 request per month without consultation with the troops amongst other things. ::=

And well done to most CX pilots for having balls to say no :ok:
Our lot.....:yuk: :mad:

The point is box, whats commuting got to do with it??

The rosters are not and cannot be built up around a minority of commuters regardless of how distasteful they are.
You signed up to to wherever you are based, the commute is on you.

I dont commute for that very reason….

What a stirring motivational speech! Have you considered a career on the third floor, I think you'd fit in well with all the other yes men up there :ok:

Actually no I haven't and never will.
But have to say I am not too wild about HKG rosters being permanently manipulated / disrupted / because of the wants and needs a small minority of commuters!

Fact is, A days, W patterns / proffering were all a result of the need for some to commute.

Sometimes I wonder who's worse, you or the 3rd floor.... both result in likes of me getting shafted.

Right...... Your laying your **** HKG rosters on "a small minority of commuters"? How the hell do you make that leap? Let's count nights in own bed and see who's got the better deal.

Let's count nights in own bed and see who's got the better deal.

Which bed is that you refer to, the one where you commute to or the one where you are based?

If its the former, you own it, stop "whunging" on the forums. :=
