Nice flyover at Bathurst by the Virgin B737.
Looked good from the corporate area, nice work by the crew.
Nice bit of commentary about the aircraft by V8 commentator Neil Crompton.
Anyone know if they are planning to do a similiar thing at the Gold Coast event?

Neil Crompton is a pilot from way back.
Yes nice to see it and hear Neil speak of it in a knowledgable manner....
Unlike the AFL Grand Final where the A330 was hardly even mentioned.....

Had a mate went to the AFL GF and said there wasn't a mention. Or not that he heard. He only just happened to see it. Fairly expensive.

They apparently flew from Melbourne and returned to Melbourne - a pretty expensive exercise for a company that is travelling very poorly!

Maybe the AFL commentator is a "dyed in the wool" Boeing man with a different take on "If it ain't Boeing, I ain't Going".

Virgin 737 was good, but Air Zim go a bit lower in a 737!
Air Zimbabwe low flypast, Air show 2014, Harare - YouTube
Wouldn't yell too loud Ken, 2012 F1 GP Qantas flew an A380 from SYD held in the MEL area for 45 mins then displayed and flew back to SYD. 3 hours worth.
An A380

I was sitting in my seat at the MCG for the Grand Final. There was no mention of the A330 fly past. The A330 came over low, loud and fast. The all white jet (from below) came and went in a matter of seconds. I only saw it for a split second after I heard the noise and looked up. People around me had no idea what airline they had seen. Most sighed in relief when it was gone. Their initial, instant reaction was it was an aircraft on a terrorist attack!
