BBC News - Attack code for 'unpatchable' USB flaw released (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-29475566)

Is this another scaring the masses effort or is it something to be concerned about ?

What he said.

Just like not opening unsolicited attachments, not sitting on your iPhone .....

Not sticking untrusted USB tokens into your computer is a wise thing to remember.

For the sake of completeness, may I also point out that this (or at least a very similar topic) was covered here on PPruNe back in August ... see here (http://www.pprune.org/computer-internet-issues-troubleshooting/544742-usb-interface-microcode-may-inherently-vulnerable.html)
