Hello spotters

3 x fast jets in formation at altitude (making vapour) just transitted over Cambridge heading South at tootle-along speed. no windows rattling so def no QRA etc.

Asking as my 5yo was interested...i have no interest whatsoever, honest gov. ;)

As i type a 4th jet following same profile just passing over...maybe he was in the traps when the bell rang!

Any ideas?

Cheers

Just seen same over central London (about 18:10 to 18:12 or so viewed from Hackney) - heading South West. Loose vic formation. Did not see a fourth. Could not see what they were from my vantage point but each leaving once central contrail. Jets looked white / light grey in the evening sunlight.

Not visible on FlightRadar24 but very little military stuff is.

According to Fighter Control forum they were RAF Typhoons. Noted on Plane Plotter.
