Aircraft Identification

Stopped at West bound Membury Services on M4 around 12:00pm, 1/10/14. A single engined, twin boom tailed jet aircraft was buzzing around. It did about 4 circuits then final circuit with wheels down heading west. Was it a Vampire?, and where would it have been landing.

Sure it wasn't a model radio controlled? They frequently operate from the old airfield adjacent to the service area.
