Covert FAA Instrument rating to canadian one

Hi Boys & girls
Any idea how does it work to convert the FAA IR to canadian one?

does it have to be in Single engine and to be transfered automatically to ME or needs to be done on ME with some hours...?

You're in luck. The FAA and TC have a deal to grant certificates/licenses based on the other's licenses/certificates. You have to get a Canadian medical and pass an air law written going northbound. More information is at the bottom of this page, sorry I can't cut the top 80 percent off.
