At what age must an ATP holder retire in either a Part 125 or 135 operation.

Is there an age limit for 125? The ICAO 65 would probably apply to 135 as it is commercial air transport.

Posting a question in multiple forums is considered bad form.

Answer: The regulatory age limit only applies when operating under part 121 rules.

Of course every individual has their own practical age limit!

So as long as one can pass their medical and competency checks, then as far as the *FAA is concerned a pilot may continue to exercise the privileges of their certificate indefinitely. Depending upon the type of operations being conducted, other entities such as insurance underwriters or safety auditing firms may have some influence on the practicality of the matter.

*Countries other than the USA have their own rules.

Advice: Try not to be broke as old age approaches!
