Hi guys!

You should both come to the wonderful world of Eddie Stobart.

Two more ex-Siegerlanders joining this week!

Hope you're both well.

If you do not hold a valid TR, you'll receive a nice PFO letter.

There will be an avalanche of resignations in the coming weeks and months because ACL is forcing people to sign a new contract with CAE PARC AVIATION, with very bad terms and conditions. They are already recruiting 6 new FOs (with horrible contracts) in a rush and at the same time the current pilots are resigning.:}

If you don't mind can I please ask where you got your information from? PM me if you want. The new contract I have seen is pretty much the same as my old one except for paying social security where I am based...

If you cant back up your post please delete it as it's not the truth

Read it carefully, I cannot tell you more. It is confidential. :oh:

More resignations to come very soon.

I read your there will be resignations bit, that's not what I have an issue with!

I have an issue with you posting that it's worse T&C's and that's not the case, it is misleading to people who might be wanting to join us, as well as customers/competitors and our management reading this forum...

Firstly, apologies for raising an old thread. I figured it was better than starting a new one.

Could anybody tell me from experience what conditions are like for FO's in ASL/Air Contractors at the moment?

Also what sort of money could an FO expect to take home each month?

Must they pay for their positioning flights?

Thanks in advance for any info.

:ok:

You pay for flights to your base if you don't live there, as per any other company.
For an FO salary, you could end up with as little as 3000€ or +5000€ depending on the base they assign you.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated.

If I was to pursue it, I would hope for a Base which would be all overnights to avoid the need to rent abroad.

Is there much flexibility with base preference or is it just assigned?

Thanks again.

Are you saying that 3K-5K salary for an ATR f/o is "little" ??

Base is assigned and then you can bid through seniority.
You should expect ONLY overnights. Company pays for hotels.

3000€ per month is low for a professional pilot, except if your parents paid for all and gave you a house and lamborghini to go with

If any ASL guys out there could spare a moment to answer a couple of short questions it'd be much appreciated.

Are there opportunities to go for command in ASL?

Are there opportunities to progress on to larger aircraft?

I believe the most likely base assignment for an upcoming opportunity would be one of the German bases, would these be less or more favorable with regards to salary and conditions?

I currently work for an ATR passenger operator and contemplating the move for better pay, more time off and I'm also interested in flying cargo at some stage in my career.

Many Thanks,
