In a redispatch flightplan, can I use the reclear airport as the alternative route to the final destination?

if by 'alternative route' you mean alternate to destination, if it is possible it defeats the purpose of redispatch. That is, if you can make it back to the 'reclear' airport then you do not need a reclear/redispatch flight plan.
The reason for redispatch was to cut down on fuel and increase payload right?
In which case would be impossible to fly back to the reclear.
