just read this vacancy:
Co-Pilot - Nok Airlines Public Company Limited | jobsDB Thailand (http://th.jobsdb.com/TH/EN/Search/JobAdSingleDetail?jobsIdList=300003000802360&sr=1)

Does anyone know how it's like to work for NOK as an expat FO. Any upgrade possibilities, what is the pay, roster?

Thanks a lot

currently there s no expat in this airline. And in the link clearly stated. But the company s expanding and need pilots. Mainly flying domestically. A lot of working days each month (appx 14-18 days)That's what I know.

They have some farang in Nok Mini on the Saab.
Nok main absolutely no farang, it's under TG after all.
They do work as someone said about 18 days a month consisting of 4 sectors days eg DMK-HDY-DMK-CEI-DMK
Cheers

Will they ever need farang? All of the airlines are recruiting so I guess you can't put a 20yr old kid with zero experience on a 737 or 767?

I think they (Nok) had one maybe two Boeing Company NG guys come along in the past when they initially got the NG to train locals, they've definitely gone now. From what I've seen here and heard of there, I very much doubt they will ever need farang for more than those sorts of duties.
Got a mate who just joined Pete Air/Scoot, PM for more info. You could try Orient Thai if you are 73/76/74 rated, PM me for contact details of CP for 73 fleet. City Airways is another option if you are 73 rated, although they've just had their HKT service pulled by the Thai DCA, not sure the reason yet though.
Cheers.
