Manchester connection time

Is it sane to book two non-connectable, non-thru-baggage, but both operating from terminal 3, flights with 1h20 time between arrival and departure? IOM-MAN-LJU to be specific, Flybe and Adria.

Personally I have never been at MAN airport but from experience anything less than 2 hours in UK is tight as a.. :mad:

And that assumes the inbound departs on time and then doesn't sit around in the hold.... you could easily loose 30-40 minutes due to inbound delays (at any airport, not just MAN). Then you assume the baggage comes off the belt in time (at any airport, not just MAN).

Personally, anywhere in the world, I would say 2 hours... or 1.5 if you want to push it. But anything less than one and a half and you're sort of asking for trouble.

Do you have fasttrack through security?

If yes, then it might work. If not, I wouldn't go for it myself.

Terminal 3 is a nightmare, I would generally allow at least 3 hours for a connection there... Although I tend to be somewhat cautious

I'm not entirely clear what you mean by "non-thru-baggage."
If you mean you will have hand luggage only, then it's doable, depending on the delays mentioned previously such as departure and holding.
If you mean you will have checked luggage which you will have to collect and then drop off at check-in again, then virtually no chance. Because you will only have 20 scheduled minutes to do this as baggage drop-off closes 60 minutes before departure.

FlyBE and Adria both interline? Meaning their non-refundable fares can be combined on the same ticket, provided the minimum connecting time at MAN is met. Your bags would be checked through and I'm guessing that 1h20 would suffice, but perhaps another with access to MCT data could comment.

To have a single ticket issued for multiple airline you need to talk to a travel agent, or the first airline. You can't book this on-line.
