Is there any info in the public domain or otherwise on the MSN of the 737's that left the Renton express for a dip in the river? who were the intended customers?

Not anything beyond the local news in Seattle. I believe I saw one SWA, one Alaska and one Delta on the list. None of those will see service, so you can relax as you won't have to fly on one of them. ;)

Are you sure they won't see service?

As long as they are not bent, I cant see any reason to not clean and decontaminate them? Looked like they were covered in zinc chromate so should be fairly impervious to corrosion issues. I think they would be fine.

The one in the middle did not hit the water and is still on the flat car. I would think after an inspection it would be usable. I am sure these things ain't cheap. :)

One of these frames/customers that actually went, or at least try to go swimming.
5035 - Shenzhen (800)
5036 - Delta (900)
5037 - Air China (800)
5038 - Southwest (800)

I haven't dug deeper into it for a while. 6 Frames alledgedly were crushed/dismantled.
Haven't looked into the other serial numbers.

It just took 10 seconds with Mr Google...
