Are they starting to break?
At the end of June the 787 flight to Hyderabad appears to have broken and was stuck in Hyderabad for a whole week before returning to LHR.
Yesterdays flight to Philadelphia was made by the same aircraft (G-ZBJA) which appears now to have an almost 24 hour delay on the return flight.
In January, G-ZBJB was in Newark (EWR) for 4 days as a result of a "technical issue".
G-ZBJC suffered hydraulic failures about 8 weeks after entering service, then needed a new engine in June.
G-ZBJD spent 4 or 5 days in maintenance following a bird strike to a landing light
Last month, G-ZBJE suffered a "technical issue", resulting in the cancellation of the Chengdu service.
I'm not having a go at the 787 here, I just happened to notice the delay on this morning's arrival and took a look at how the others have been faring.
