Have been thinking of trying out Virgin for some 66 modules. Just wandered what people's experiences have been like and whether it's worth ago. Up until now I have been using LRTT @ Kemble which I cannot fault, it's just the distance and added cost of having to stay in digs.
Any feedback is appreciated.

Beech Boy,
Not used Virgin for '66 modules but one of the younger engineers at my last outfit did and he couldn't speak highly enough of them. Knowledgeable instructors, good study material and a comfortable, well equipped classroom.
Did my A320 type course with them many years ago (when VS had A320's) and again I have to say it was an excellent course.

On the other side of the coin I have done type courses and module courses at VS and have to say they have been some of the worst I have experienced. Antiquated teaching techniques and equipment, unknowledgeable instructor, in fact on one of the type courses someone got up and walked out it was that bad.

Unless things have improved dramatically in the last couple of years I would think twice about paying for courses there.

Beech boy, It just so happens I am in the VS classroom doing exactly that! I was home studying with another companies material, and decided a classroom and ££££'s out of my back pocket was a more expediant use of my time. I have only experienced one of the instructors, and this will change with a new module after next week. I am looking forward to this and the learning is more productive than distance learning at a cost - large one at that. PM me if you want to know more detail rather than discuss VS on an open forum.
