Diverted HBA from original AKL-MEL presumably due weather, appears to have broken off an approach..

anyone with further details?

Must be a slow day...
Severe Cold Front passing thru MEL around that time.
looks to be a standard diversion due to WX in/around MEL.
A quick look thru the news websites and one would note the WX that is affecting the Southern part of OZ.

Move on - nothing to see here

Very impressive watching Singapore 773 take off from runway 34 at MEL with winds 260@30G38 at the time ! Was the only one to give it a crack
