Oh that's awful and shocking.

The Lear clearly didn't stand a chance.

Thoughts with those affected.

Accident in a 'low fly zone' according to the linked report.....

Why would a Learjet be operating low level? And if it was not a low level accident, why no tcas save?

Not looking good for the Learjet crew....

Read something to the effect that the Lear was chartered by the German Military. No further details.

'Police in Germany say a military-chartered jet has crashed after colliding with a fighter plane.
A spokeswoman for police in the Sauerland region east of Cologne says the Learjet with two people on board collided with a German Eurofighter aircraft on Monday afternoon near the town of Elpe.
Bianca Scheer said the fate and the identity of the two people on board the Learjet wasn't known. She said the plane had been chartered by the German military, but was unable to immediately provide further details.
German military spokesman Joerg Langer confirmed that two Eurofighter jets were operating in the area and that there had been "contact" with the Learjet. He said the fighter planes landed safely.'

Might be GFD, an EADS/Airbus subsid, flies a fleet of Lears from Hohn
on EW/TT/TS work - similar to Cobham Falcon 20's.
