Hi all,

I love Pprune but I'm looking for information about jobs in the US (US citizen). I was wondering if there is a similar popular website/forum for the US-based pilots. I really couldn't find any even though I'm sure there must be a few of them.

There is flightinfo.com. It's similar, but, the threads can get somewhat snarky and uncivilized at times, think cricket match compared to pro wrestling. Still plenty of useful info, though.

I believe APC is the biggest and most active

Airline Pilot Central Forums (http://www.airlinepilotforums.com/)

Then there is JetCareers as well

jetcareers.com (http://www.jetcareers.com/)

ProPilotWorld.com - "Pilots helping Pilots" (http://www.propilotworld.com) is pretty good, but it requires an ATP, they verify credentials, and it's not free.

I believe they expect to you to email a copy of your certificate, but I'm not certain (I'm not a member).

PPW's website says they take ATPs, Commercials, F/Es, Dispatchers and ATC.

I believe everyone is listed, you can restrict your personal information. But I doubt Harrison Ford really lives in a hanger at the Santa Monica airport.

PPRUNE might make some more money if they created a truly USA forum with USA sensibility and customs.

PPRune and APC are both owned by Internet Brands so I don't see PPRune making a US centric forum, but you never know.

Is pprune not doing well financially?
