When these encounters take place are there any radio exchanges or is it all visual?

Dirty,
And hopefully you remember that as soon as they turn out, you turn in!

Again, it makes you realise just how big an aircraft the Flanker is.
And how small the Russian Air Force's budget for aircraft washes is!

"Again, it makes you realise just how big an aircraft the Flanker is."
Cocky IntO... "Problem with a FLANKER is range - it can only carry 11 tonnes of fuel internally*"
QWI "Err, right. So exactly how much fuel do you define as "a little"?"
:ugh:

The Times had a nice picture today but the caption, referring to an "SU-25 Flanker" spoiled their credibility.
My father's Daily Express got it right but spoiled it by having to circle the Typhoon so that we could tell which was which!!
