I had an ad-hoc visit to Luton Monday 16th.
In the area with time to fill, so tried my luck with the very poor met. conditions.

I was quite pleased with the results, had to work hard with the camera and settings to get the results.
Here are some examples of the resulting Pics.

I was at Luton from 11am- 3 pm.
Do you have a particular Gulfstream in mind.?
If so, let me know the Reg. and I will see if I photographed it during my visit.
The ones I did photograph are in very poor light, so any Pic. will be the best as possible in a poor situation.!!
Cheers

For one who is often critical of the junk some people post in the Spotters Forum, I have to congratulate you on a fine series of pictures, especially in that weather and that light. What camera and lens did you use? Do you remember your settings?

Thanks for your kind words.
I run a Nikon D300 DSLR with a non digital pro.level "Nikon ED AF-S 80-200mm f2.8 zoom lens. (one of the best lenses Nikon ever made)

Set Speed at 1/800 of a Sec. With adjustments on the "Compensation" to adjust for the light variations as and when it changed, which was very often.!! (+ 40 years experience of semi pro aircraft photography helps as well)

If my photography skills were even half as good as yours, I'd be very proud.

Great photos.
