I wondered if any of the more 'senior' members of this forum knew Captain Frank Dell who joined BEA after the war and retired 30 years later as Chief Pilot (Technical) of BA's European Division?

His recently published memoir of his experiences as a wartime Mosquito pilot, and then being on the run in Germany and Holland after being shot down, is one of the best WW2 aviation books I have ever read.

I've posted a review here: Mosquito Down! (http://www.pprune.org/military-aircrew/541168-mosquito-down-new-book.html)

Dear all of you !

PLEASE ! Who can tell me how to be in touch with Mr Frank Dell ?

It was my father ( Gerrit Doeleman ) who ( and his friend ) found Mr Dell in a haystack at Breukelaar's farm in Aalten / The Netherlands after passing the German/Dutch border by Mr Frank Dell.

Kindest regards,

Mr Peter Doeleman.

I'll Private Message you Peter - I'm one of the family and Frank Dell lives in Sydney now so I'll call him once he's up and about to ask his permission to forward his contact details. He is on email, but not frequently.
