ORAC posted notice of this over on Jet Blast and I was so taken by the subject and the potential it offers that I thought it may be of interest on the mil forum. Effectively what NASA are doing is exploring the feasibility of producing usable specific thrust by exploiting quantum effects. In effect pushing against the quantum vacuum of space to warp space itself. While this may all sound a little to much like science fiction early experimental results have produced what are believed to be measurable effects albeit very small.

If you have a spare 60 minutes watch the video through. Likewise the tech report is fascinating.

ORAC hope you don't mind me posting here. Mods sorry if this not appropriate, happy of course if you feel it should be deleted.

Thanks for posting, I'd have missed it if it were left in jet blast.
