Is that a bicycle pump in your trousers, or are you just pleased to see me?

Well, I've heard of plenty of blokes who got caught riding the town bike - but I thought riding your own bike was perfectly legal??

That Truscott bloke is more than a few cows short in the top paddock. :)

Sounds like he was framed.

Was he wearing an inner tube?

"Stewart had denied the offence, claiming it was caused by a misunderstanding after he had too much to drink."

That is both the funniest and weirdest thing I have read on PPrune. I can't stop crying with laughter.

14th November 2007.

That's the date of the article and the old retro BBC website is a blast from the (near) past. I wonder if he still cycles, or for that matter has registered with Google to have his details removed from their web searches ?

There are people amongst us, not ppruners you understand :}, who have had their sexual blueprinting gone astray and then find themselves attracted to all sorts of people, places, inanimate objects etc, no matter how unusual or deviant.

. . . and no-one spoke up for him.

And he claims he was framed. Saddled with the conviction, though.

It doesn't help his case that it was a bi cycle.

.....They used a master key to unlock the door

Is there no privacy anymore?

How old was the bicycle, two consenting adults ?

He has the pump, all he needed was a blow up doll :ok:

Then he could have put the doll on the bike to make a dyke
and Bob's your uncle !

Is no one concerned any more that people are being prosecuted (and occasionally persecuted) for what they are doing in the privacy of their own room?

According to the story I read this chap was happily consorting with his (consenting) bicycle in his own hotel room. Surely if they entered because he was so enraptured he didn't hear them knock the maids should have discreetly retired.
Or maybe I read it wrong.

Is there no privacy anymore? my comment above, I agree with you.

Yes, agree.

Should have invited the maid to join him, then you would have had
a bike, a dyke and a bloke :ok: :O

At Exeter Crown Court, Judge Gilbert remanded Truscott in custody and adjourned the case for psychiatric reports.

"It is extremely likely that the sensible outcome of this case will be a mental health act order," he said.
A disappointed Truscott had hoped for a pat on the head.
