I know there are other threads on here regarding this, but wanted to post something more fresh on the subject covering both.

Its around the time of renewal for this and as a bit of comparison is below.
Baymac is around $500 per person more expensive than Aetna, but it does include children for free until 19th birthday so for those with kids, its a no brainer.

Baymac has a $250 deductible, whereas Aetna does not. However Aetna is a "top up" plan for the EK scheme.

Baymac covers higher limits, and full USA coverage whereas the US costs extra on Aetna.

Both cover pre-existing conditions, however outpatients/specialists are barely covered with Aetna ($3000) so if someone has a PEC, that won't go far but they would be covered fully if admitted to hospital.

The Baymac plan is a stand alone plan that can be used as a primary plan, the Aetna scheme requires the claim to be submitted through EK's laborious scheme, contested, documents found, resubmitted to them.

I have used Aenta without any issues and the reimbursement was fairly simple and fast. I have no experience with Baymac nor do I know anyone who uses it, there is also the age-old question that if it was so good, why didn't EPC use it?

Any info you may have would be much appreciated.
