There are a few threads running about drones.

Worth starting a drone forum at least whilst they are in such an interesting and game changing period? Put all the mishaps and legal speak in one place?

Here is a very ballsy illegally operated drone film, shot over London and thousands of its unsuspecting citizens.

They'll have to remove the sunroofs from the police cars and install AA weaponry soon,
"What do you do for a living Mr Draper",
"I'm the rear gunner in a panda car"

Too many cuts, I could'nt watch it all

The cuts appear to be crashes and midairs

The first one appears that that it struck a bird

Small Colorado town considers drone hunting licenses - CNN.com (http://www.cnn.com/2013/07/19/us/colorado-town-drone-ordinance/)

That's one way to raise revenue. I can see this becoming a popular tourist theme.

A very good friend, who flies a Boeing NG737 in and out of YVR, was greatly disturbed by this. Looks like an Air Canada A320.

Help is at hand ...

This shows how it works by placing a 'tracker beam' on the drone and then pulling it down: DroneDefender Video | Battelle (http://www.battelle.org/site/dronedefender-video)

These are to be sold ONLY to military and polic - so how long till they're available on the black market?
