A friend has a daughter who wants to be a FA. She has been pointed at

Airline Cabin Crew » Oyster Training Group (http://oystertraininggroup-px.rtrk.co.uk/our-courses/airline-cabin-crew)

Does anybody have any experience of them and does a passing qualification from them help get a job as a FA.

Thanks,

BD

PS Sorry if this has been discussed before but a search came up with nothing new.

No experience with Oyster.

I'm of the opinion that these 'courses or preparation days' are a total waste of money and time. To be honest their is no point doing generic SEP training, the airlines won't be that interested as they will have to re-train you to their specific SOPs anyway. At best it may show that you want the job. A far better thing to do would be to go and get some good quality customer service experience, airlines are far more interested in that and your experiences in dealing with customers than the cabin crew courses.
