G'day

Might be time to trade in the 13.4s; I've read the reviews, but does anyone have any first-hand experience with the Pro X in the GA environment.

I have been using the Pro X for a few months now flying a single engine turbine.

The only thing i notice is if the air vents are directed at your head, you will hear the wind whistling through the seals of the headset. In our environment this can be a pain with mid 30 to 40 degree days and wanting the AC on most of the time.

This is due to the smaller ear cushions.. They are comfortable. The noise cancelling works well. I haven't had a chance to try the bluetooth yet.

For the price you wont regret the purchase

Plow King:

The DC Pro X is great, and it has to be, to salvage the reputational harm done by the DC X11!

I agree with skydiveandy regarding air vent noise if the vents are aimed at the head phones.

The DC Pro X is different to Bose etc in that the headphones sit ON the ears, not around them, similar to the high end stereo headphones used with Ipods etc.

This difference makes it important to correctly position the headphones on your ears, the DC instructions point this out.

The blue tooth phone / music connect is excellent!

I have tested mine in SE Turbine, C402, BE58, and the ultimate litmus test,
a Britten Norman Islander !!!

I have used DC 13.4, Senheiser, Bose A20, Light Speed.

A month after getting my DC Pro X I sold my Bose A20.

Price is very competitive, about $500 less than Bose A20.
