Hi all,
I intend on doing a Single Engine CPL later on in the year.
I can see in CAP804 Sect 4 Subpart L E (CPL Modular Aeroplanes)
That I can use 30 hours gliding experience towards the 200 hours total to apply to a CPL once I have completed the course.
I have 2 questions.
1: Can i use any gliding time (I have around 80 hours) towards the 150 hours flight time I need before commencing the course? It doesn't seem to state what this can be made up of.
and
2: I imagine that the 30 hours gliding time will also count toward the 100 PIC time required and not just the 200 hours flight time. Would this be right?
Apologies in advance for such a bland post but I would be grateful of anyone else's advice/experience before inquiring with the CAA.
Kind Regards
