Venice Airport, Italy

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if the new terminal at Venice is operating yet? Their website avoids telling you the opening date, it just says May 2002. Also, are the UK carriers such as Go, BA, Britannia, Monarch etc. planning to use the new airbridge gates or continue to park remote?

Where exactly is the new terminal? (I know its at Venice Airport :rolleyes: but whereabouts?)

Not open yet. Its built onto the right hand side of the existing terminal as you look at it from the a/c stands. I doubt Go will use the piers as they slow down turn around times (use forward and rear steps to off load and load reduces a lot of time!)
