Here's me thinking this thread was about Camilla off for a jaunt in G-XXEB.

Nothing unusual.
I lifted several cows out of ravines in Austria.
Some alive but also some dead once.

A flying horse? For a moment there I thought Pegasus Helicopters (http://www.pprune.org/rotorheads/331370-no-tail-rotor-no-tail-boom-no-h-v-worries-pegasus-helicopter.html) had risen from the dead.

You need a UC Davis Anderson Sling it seems. $4295.00 USD + S&H.

Scanning the thread titles, for a moment I thought it said "helicopter goes for a horse ride"!

During Confrontation in Borneo in the sixties a Gurka festival came around. Part of this festival was roasting a cow which had been dispatched with one blow from an oversized kukri.

The Gurka battalion was on operations in the middle of Sabah, in North Boneo, and local cows were in short supply. To keep moral up a young, sedated, water buffalo bull was underslung underneath a helicopter over some ninety miles of jungle, fairly rapidly, before it woke up.

The ceremony started, the Batt. Sergeant Major did the neccessary, brilliantly, and everybody was happy.

Except the bull.

That looks more like fancy SM equipment for horses.
