Recently I've found that clicking on links doesn't work. A new window opens but stays blank. The remedy is to click on 'open in new window'.

I use Jelly Bean with wireless mouse.

I've been getting exactly the same. I'm using Windows 8.1 on a laptop.

Does Google work?

Google works fine, click on links and they open in the same page.

It is only PPRuNe that opens a new page then remains "loading" for ever.

So, let's get this clear, 'cos it isn't at present?

You are now saying that Recently I've found that clicking on links doesn't work. was an incorrect post and it is only PPR that is failing? Quite a significant difference!

I assume 'Jelly Bean' indicates some sort of Android device so it is PPR on mobile that is failing? Is it ok on a proper computer?

We appear to have two problems here with the Win8.1 as well.

Sounds like a problem with the viglinks that IB have introduced.

Not sure. This is where we are directed. But only some of the time.

Any thoughts?

That's an Internet Explorer thing - the page I mean.

Why any links would ever show it, I have no idea (aside from it being IE). Possibly malware attempting to redirect but failing.

Anyone still having link issues? I'm not seeing problems on IE or FF.

Be sure you've turned off any plugins that can block site functions.

If you still have trouble opening links, post the link here, along with your browser type and version.

Yes, maybe, altho' Malwarebytes shows nowt.
Interestingly, I've found that if you click on the non-working link a second time it then works.

With all the (I-would-call-it-essential-but-others-would-call-it-cr@p) on my machine, I'm reluctant to do a clean re-install which I know is the preferred way of cleaning. Last time it took two days. :ugh:

Thanks IBobi, that's what caused it. :ok:
