Our Provost ex-Burmese air force gets the prop and spinner re-installed and is getting closer to the day when it is wheeled into the museum.

How did you get a Provost out of Burma?

How long have you been restoring it? I didn't see it when I had a "backstage" tour two years ago.

I42, the Provost came to us via Brendon Deere who also got a Spitfire (not one of "those Spitfires") from Burma several years ago.

It was in a container in NZ for 15 years before it came to us and might have been in the container here when you called by.

Yes, it looked distinctly three-dimensional when I had the pleasure of marshaling "AL" at Tauranga two years ago.

However, not as much pleasure as when I flew in Doug Brooker's Tr IX the next day. :ok:
