Virgin Wet lease 742 TF-ATW

Does anyone know (Scroggs??) why VS have wet leased this 74 for services ex MAN and also painted the A/C ? As I understand it are there not VS pilots still waiting for their jobs back? Is there not spare capacity at VS as with all other Airlines?? So why pay someone else to operate this service?

By all accounts some pax V unhappy at the interior fit of the A/C ie no IFE etc.

No doubt someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand the aircraft was purchased complete with the Virgin interior and exterior paintwork intact.

I believe the aircraft is crewed by VS staff and that normal VS service and IFE is provided on board, with the exception of Upper Class.

Anyone able to confirm this ???

All confirmed, it's an ex Virgin classic with what was a new Interior a couple of years ago and it is flown by Virgin Atlantic flight and cabin crew.
