Just wondered what airport they were using for the race, my guess is that it was Al Bateen, pretty central and close to the corniche. Could anyone confirm this please?

They use an area of concrete on Al Mina Port for the runway and I think they make small portable hangars for the technicians to work in.

The strip is in Al Mina Port down opposite the market selling pots and pans and plants.
