Air Crash Investigation: Copa Airlines in Early 90s

I work for the television show "Air Crash Investigation" that airs on National Geographic channels around the world. We are producing an episode of our show on the 1992 Copa Airlines accident Flight 201.

Our show is a docudrama, which means we've done interviews and will be hiring actors and building sets soon to recreate the flight and investigation.

We are looking for a few reference photos. Might you have any of the following?

-- Photo of a Copa Airlines Capitán pilot's uniform from the early 90s.
-- Photo of a Copa Airlines First Officer pilot's uniform from the early 90s.

If you have any photos of the pilots' uniforms you'd be willing to share, I'd love to also see the fine detail - including any pins / badges etcetera.

We also haven't been able to find any photos of either the Captain or First Officer of this flight. If you know either of them and have a photo you'd be willing to share, please email me. It's for reference purposes only.

Sonya after watching your firms take on the Staines disaster I would have thought that a visit to toys are us would serve. It was the biggest load of rubbish I have seen. The two second officers were made up to senior first officer (keighley) - who wasn't legally qualified and Ticehurst was made up to a first officer.
Then the cockpit was redesigned as were the warnings and noise abatement procedure.
Sad when you could have made a decent, non political program.

Blind Pew after reading your book I would have thought a visit to fantasy island would serve. It was the biggest disappointment I have read. You claim not to have read the accident report in your book and yet feel entitled to give a knowledgeable view of the report and accident.
The book is littered with inaccuracies and poor research.
Sad when you could have written a decent objective book.

I wrote something along the lines that I didn't read the report at the time...those of us on the trident in June 72 knew what strokes were performed to weigh the investigation away from those responsible.
My book wasn't primarily about the accident ...it is an autobiography.
My research was limited to what was allowed under FOI act and how much those that I spoke to would allow me to divulge.
It was and still is an accident that had it's origins in management and training, bullying and incompetence.
You don't get an appalling loss rate by accident.
Because I don't have the backing of a publishing house's legal department and rely on a legal edit and insurance there is a limit to what I was prepared to publish.
This was brought home after a post here last year led to a revenue investigation.

No doubt you have watched the Papa India documentary and the distortion of the known facts including hanging out of Ticehurst,Collins and Flavell. No mention of the sacking of crews, unqualified P2, the letter to the BoT,the threats to Captains that refused to take our group along, Childs,Hazzard or Hagyard, the stall procedure, the missing witnesses, Cunningham....the list is very long...

I see that you asked about Bannister...no doubt you know he was BOAC and master of the guild...

Maybe you should suggest that cineflix do a documentary on Aerotoxic syndrome and how Balpa have done a 180 - they could add the links with BA and the CAA.
No doubt they would concur with the diagnose of hyperventilation and that those of our past profession have been crippled or have died when a brown paper bag would have saved them.:mad:
