Can anyone help with providing these charts, and typical empty weights of the CJ2/CJ2+.

Need 1,100 nm plus reserves with 2 pax and 2 crew.

Thanks.

FLIGHT PLANNING GUIDE CJ2+:

textron.vo.llnwd.net/o25/CES/cessna_aircraft_docs/citation/cj2/cj2_fpg.pdf

CJ 2:

1100nm 2/2 should be doable.

Ours was light (2 tube cockpit, bucket instead of toilet, non belted toilet) ...DOW 7852 lbs

Max ZFW: 9300lbs
Max TOW: 12375lbs
Max LDW: 11500lbs
Max Fuel: 3960 lbs
EFHK_LSGG Altn LFLY planned:

1121nm / 2 Pax at 212lbs each / no baggs

at FL400/MCT/ zero wind minblock is about 3700lbs

at FL430/MCT/zero wind 3460lbs

(TAXI&TRIP,ALTN,5%CONT & 30 MIN HOLD 1500ft abv. ALTN ELEV)

So that works but not with too much reserve - with a constant wind of 200/50 you`d rquire a full tank at FL400 (MinBlock 3960) and at 430 3702lbs

I used an old file for my flightplanning prog and canŽt really guarantee the numbers, but that file worked 10 years ago when I did my last CJ2 flight...

Thank you HD,

Would you or anyone know how far a CJ2 (not the +) fly with with 2 crew plus 4 pax, and 2 crew plus 3 pax?

Thanks in advance.

Well, FF/TAS at midweight for FL400 is 870/400, for 430 750/390

You can work from the example above with that - OTOH the altn dist is only 57nm in that example. -> if youŽd use altn further away the equation gets more difficult.
I`ve just planned EGGW-LPCS (875 ovhd-ovhd, 914 via Airways, CFMU checked) with LPFR as an altn at 123nm distance, at FL 400, ETE is 2:34

You could do that with 4 pax, no baggs and a minblock of 3370 lbs. max poss fuel is 3800lbs, 210/50kts will require 3651 lbs minblock, ETE 2:54. Max extra: 149lbs.

Same flight at FL430: 0-wind: 2:42, minblock 3235lbs, with a continuous wind of 210/50kts minblock is 3475lbs, ETE 3:01, you could take an extra of 325lbs.

For 3 pax I did EGGW-LFPR (1003nm), altn LEZL (102nm),

0-wind: 2:48 / minblock 3510 / 450 extra poss
210/50kts: 3:09 / minblock 3830 / 160 extra poss

Again: this airplane was one of the lightest. So you might end up with about 150-200lbs more airframe, the range reduces as per FF above. The difference in TAS is roughly 10-20 kts between heavy (12300lbs) and light (9500lbs) in 400 youŽll start at 395 and end up with 405, in 430 its 380 to 400.This gap closes in the mid 30ties. Taxi/takeoff is 125lbs.

Hope that helps
