Hi Everyone - i've started getting this unwanted Backup Reminder popping up every few hours:
http://i61.tinypic.com/aku6c7.jpg

It started after I down loaded Audacity (after research on this site - my previous audio editing software Wavepad had stopped working and when I uninstalled and reinstalled it some functionality was gone - like ability to save file as MP3). I also downloaded:

Free M4a to MP3 Converter 8.1 Build 66 from 08/13/13
Copyright (c) 2003-2013 ManiacTools
Professional Audio Software: MP3 Tag Editor, MIDI to MP3 Converter, MP3 Splitter and more (http://www.ManiacTools.com)
as I needed to convert audio files from Apple/iPhone format to a format that Audacity could work with (wav mp3 etc), and also downloaded

Free YouTube to MP3 Converter Studio 8.2 Build 33 from 8/15/13
Copyright (c) 2003-2013 ManiacTools
Professional Audio Software: MP3 Tag Editor, MIDI to MP3 Converter, MP3 Splitter and more (http://www.ManiacTools.com)
because it seemed like a good idea at the time and may be useful in the future.

Audacity did require a download of a 3rd party plugin (from Argentina, I think)before it would save an output file in MP3 format.

Somewhere I am sure that a PC backup program come with the above, but I don't really want it. Currently running XP2 SP3 (I know - time to move on).

I'd appreciate any thoughts and ideas. TIA

This looks like you problem:

"In Startup there was a shortcut to "MyPC Backup.exe". Right-click and found it lives in:
C: \Program Files (x86)\MyPC Backup

In this folder there is also uninst.exe, which ran successfully."
