HeyFolks,

just a question concerning GNSS.
At f.e. any of the Oslo STARs there is a reminder on the chart:
P-RNAV (GNSS OR DME/DME, EXCEPT CLASS A GNSS)

what is a Class A GNSS? I cant find some reliable informations regarding GNSS classes...

thanks for any hint!

Class A is stand alone, Classes B and C are integrated into multi-sensor systems. I think it only applies to TSO-129 equipment (i.e. not TSO-145 or 146)

So class A GNSS is approved for standalone approaches? And if GNSS is TSO-129 approved does that mean it's a class A approved system?
