It does begger belief that some PIA pilots are a law unto themselves. After being refused permission to land he still went ahead with an approach.

PIA pilot lands aircraft at Heathrow airport despite refused by control tower | Pakistan Today (http://www.pakistantoday.com.pk/2014/02/16/national/pia-pilot-lands-aircraft-at-heathrow-airport-despite-refused-by-control-tower/)

He kept flying the aircraft in the skies of London despite the bad weather and also wasted fuel worth of millions.

However this bit of journo does concern me......millions of what? Rupees?

Is this sentence from the same article accurate ?
However, the pilot’s request was finally accepted after an hour and was allowed to land the plane in the rough conditions.

Is this sentence from the same article accurate ?Well the photo accompanying the article is from the PIA incident at Stansted last May, which doesn't inspire much confidence in the accuracy of the rest of the report.
